The Forest Service Volunteer Program’s national headquarters is located in Washington, D.C. The agency is further divided into 9 regions, with each of those broken down into ranger districts. The Forest Service also includes 5 Research Stations, a Forest Products Laboratory (located in Wisconsin), and an International Institute of Tropical Forestry (located in Puerto Rico).
Inquiries about volunteering or partnering should be directed to your local Ranger District or Forest Office. Follow the map or links below to find your local Forest Service unit.
